Butiki's Watermelon Xylophone

So it’s pretty easy to say that this would make a great summer drink hot or cold! It's a shame Butiki closed down but since I'm rolling out reviews from my tumblr starting from the beginning, here it is regardless! Butiki’s Watermelon Xylophone is a unique blend of white tea that refreshes you on your hottest day! (Also, aren’t the little clay teapots adorbes?)

Watermelon Xylophone smells of sweat floral melon with cream and honey (HOW DO THEY DO THAT?) This tea includes Organic Silver Needle, Amaranth, Organic Watermelon Natural Flavoring.
Steep this tea at 185F for 4 minutes and 30 seconds. I’m sure you can steep this gongfu style and get a whole different complexity out of it, enjoying each individual flavor for what it is.
Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum! This is my second favorite tea behind French Lemon Macaroon tea from them. Aromatically this tea is aweeessommee. The floral vegetal smell is a little more prevalent once brewed but watermelon is still the strongest scent you catch! BY THE WAY, it smells super sweet already!
So how does this bad boy taste? Well let me tell you. On a brisk fall day this tea is warmth, reminiscent of a hot summer day out by the pool. The most noticeable flavor is the melon with a sweet floral undertone. Iced with agave sweetener this is the perfect tea to refresh someone who has spent a long while in the sun, a great replacement for lemonade. If you had any doubts about buying this tea, erase them from your mind! This tea is amazing hot or cold, sweetened or unsweetened.
If you have any questions or would like me to review a certain tea, send me a PM!
xoxo
