Tulsi Dosha Chai is a spicy Rooibos Tea for those wanting to warm up on a crisp fall day.
Look at all those spices! This tea includes Red rooibos, coconut, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, rose blossom leaves, cardamom, black pepper and vanilla pieces. Dry; this tea politely overwhelms you with distinct cinnamon and ginger flavors.
Let this steep for 5-6 minutes in 208F filtered water. I chose to steep it in Teavana’s perfect tea maker.
Look at that beautiful mahogany/ochre color! You can definitely still smell the cinnamon and ginger and I already feel as though it’s warming me up!
So how does this tea taste? Does it stand up to it’s delectable chai smell? Unsweetened Tulsi Dosha Chai tastes like a red rooibos with the cinnamon and ginger undertones. However, with a little bit of german rock sugar this tea is simply divine! The coconut and vanilla flavors pop out and it makes a great tea to satisfy your sweet tooth and warm you up with it’s chilly out.
Teaware included; Teavana perfect tea maker, England fine bone china tea cup purchased from Ebay, and a 16oz pink teapot purchased from a local tea/bakery shop in Oahu.
